How do you feel about this situation?

My friend and his girlfriend got pregnant and were expecting a baby boy. They decided to name the baby after him so the baby will have the same name because that what he wanted. During the pregnancy about halfway through she broke up with him and started dating a new guy. He never wronged her was faithful and a loving boyfriend, her reasoning for breaking up was she realized she just didn’t want to be with him and wanted something different in life she didn’t know what but knew it wasn’t him. He was crushed and heart broken but continued to support her throughout the pregnancy and be there for ultrasounds and major doctors appointments. When she went into labor she didn’t allow him in the delivery room but wanted her new boyfriend there instead. He understood but was hurt. She delivered a healthy baby boy but instead of giving the baby his name like they agreed she named the baby her new boyfriends name....

what your opinion was this wrong of her? Or her right since she is the mother?

Edit- she gave the baby the new boyfriends first name and her last name (it was supposed to be the fathers first and last name).
