Is it normal to not test positive until 5 days after missed period?

This has now happened to me twice and I've miscarried both times. I'm hoping this isn't a sign that it will happen again I am now 4 days passed missed period and still no positive.

I've done bloodwork and everything came back normal! I've read that they can't do anything to help with hcg.

No. Call your doctor. They can test your hcg and if it’s low and you need help they may be able to help.
