Going out with baby

When did everyone feel comfortable taking your preemie out? Or what did the dr suggest? My first wasn’t a preemie so I took him everywhere but with this one I’m slightly terrified. When do their immune systems become mature? I don’t plan on taking him anywhere for a while but I’m just thinking ahead down the road...
