I had a miscarriage in December with my first pregnancy, and had my first appointment for my second pregnancy today. The Sonographer seemed to have a hard time finding the heartbeat, but could visibly see it. After meeting with my doctor she said that the heart rate is lower than it should be, and at this point it’s kind of a grey area and could go either way. I have an appointment next Wednesday to check the progress and see if the heart rate increases, or I’m assuming to see if I’ve miscarried again. I know this happens and that it really could go either way, but I am so worried. I was so hoping for a solid yes or no, and being in the middle is making me very uneasy. They gave me a picture of my baby measuring at 6 weeks and 5 days, all the pregnancy care instructions, and a projected due date, but I am finding it hard to be happy about anything. I know it’s still so early and anything can happen, I just needed to vent. Sending out good vibes to all of you!
