Does anyone have an infant or has had an infant twirl their wrist when excited or upset/frustrated? If so did they grow out of it?

Definitely normal! My husband and I joke that he is trying to start his motorcycle. He does that less now and lately he likes to kick his legs and flop like a fish out of water when you pick him up haha. Babies do very strange things with their bodies

My 8.5 month old does it constantly and her pedi said it’s completely normal for babies

I didn’t know it was a thing to ask about 🙈 my son raises his arm up in the air and will twist his wrist back and forth. I didn’t think anything of it. He’s definitely not setback in anyway and has actually hit milestones of 9 month old babies already.

My little guy just stopped doing that at 8 months! Don’t listen to google, it’s not a sign of autism. My doc told me it’s normal for babies to do that until 2ish without being a sign of an issue. Mention it to your pedi as with any other concerns of course.
