New born items .?

So we had our baby shower and literally only 12 people showed up . And that was a mix of his and my family 😭 I put way more money into the shower ! Anyway . So I need to make sure I have everything for her ! What are some items that a new born NEEDS !?

Diapers, wipes, sleepers, onesies, formula and bottles (if you’re not breast feeding), bassinet/crib/pack n’ play. You don’t really “need” much for a newborn.

Showers are for the party, you can’t really expect people to get you stuff. Always plan ahead. 
Bassinet of some sort to keep close to your bedside helps
Bath lounge to lay her in
Lotion
Barrier cream for diaper rash 
Gas drops
Swing or bouncer

Thin swaddle blankets

-bottles (good to have a few on hand even if you plan to breastfeed)
-ear thermometer and rectal thermometer 
-a place to change diapers with a decent “splash” radius

Good lists from other comments so far, I just wanted to add receiving blankets and crib/pack n play sheets. Car seat is a must, you can't leave the hospital without it. A stroller is good to have too.
