Anybody being induced/having a C-section?

Question

Just wondering if anybody has an induction or C-section scheduled because of gestational diabetes, gestational hypertension, or both. Everybody in my family that's had one or both had their baby early. I have both, but they haven't talked about taking the baby early even though my numbers have been bad. Not sure if that's normal, or not. I'm 34 weeks this week.

I’m being induced at 37 weeks for gestational hypertension. My doctor planned it at 32 weeks.

I’m 34 weeks Wednesday and I have gestational hypertension and they’re inducing me at 37+1

I think they're more likely to induce early for hypertension than GD. I have GD and baby is big, but not 85%+ big so at least at this point, I will only be induced after my due date if necessary.

With my last baby I was induced 5 days early due to GD. They ought to be setting up an induction soon. Likely your next appt, I'd think.
