Im going in tomorrow to get my Iud placed. Ive never had one before, im 15, never given birth or had an abortion. Any advice on how long i should rest it off? Or how to keep it from hurting alot since im unable to have it done during ovulation or my period? What stmptoms will i immediately have and what should i avoid for the next week or two? Im getting kyleena but i am prone too extreme cramping even at random. Just any advice at all would be great. My doctors a kook and just kept trying to give me a nuva ring even though i told her my family has been prone to blood clotting, we had to guilt her into even doing a placement instead of perscribing me depo, experimental bc and nuva ring.

Dont know what the hell half the people here are on, that was absolute agony. Then again it could be the timing of it, but it was still terrible. How anyone can go through the placement then i think i can go to work with this has to be a sociopath. Its been hours and its still agonizing cramps.
