Blood in eye

I noticed today that my eye has a very large red spot on the white area of my eye. It doesn't hurt, itch. I can see fine. Was wondering if this is a pregnancy thing? Was googling; mentioned high blood pressure but doc hasn't said a thing. Should I be worried?
