I had to pay 1100 for something just like this on a guys wheel bed when I hit him in the school parking lot. Honestly tho we should’ve asked for a THIRD opinion. We didn’t go through insurance we trusted his family. What I paid was a lot less than what they originally asked for. Asshole still hasn’t fixed his car tho...

If there are no dents, it just needs to be sanded down and repainted. If there are dents, it really depends. It looks like it's on the back quarter panel, and that can sometimes be attached to like half of the frikin car😂 so yes, if they are looking at replacing the entire thing, it could be expensive. I cant really tell from the pics but it honestly just looks like paint damage which shouldn't be bad at all. Definitely not $1000
