When did take your newborn out ?

When did you take your newborn outside ? Not in crowds but just out and about I’m not staying in the house the entire 6 weeks lol I’ll go crazy ?

Like the day after we left the hospital.... 🤷🏼‍♀️ we go everywhere with our son, who’s 10.5 months now. We never altered our life and what we do, we just included him into it!

Our pediatrician and my OB recommended waiting until after 2 weeks. We did some fast food car picnics before that though. Lol

I was a single mom and I needed stuff I went shopping with my baby the day I got out of the hospital, just dont let ppl touch ur baby.

My baby is 2 weeks and when it’s nice out I’ll go sit on the porch with him. The brightness really bothers him sometimes tho.

Right away .. I dont believe in the stay at home for 1 month or 6 weeks.. I have shit to do ! But I never let anyone touch the baby. The day i left the hospital we went to Walmart ot get stuff we needed

We have a driveway and porch- I took my baby out there without crowds since he was 4 weeks old. After 4 pm where the direct sunlight goes away

The first place I super remember going with our son, besides his or my drs appointments, was Target. He was pretty little at that point still, but it was spring, & we were going stir crazy.

When I had my first soon as we came home I would take her outside or for walks around the neighborhood I didn’t start taking her into crowds until 3 months

Went for a walk as soon as it was above freezing, so about 10 days after she was born. Have been taking her places ever since (did not start doing malls/anywhere crowded until after her 2 month shots). Knock wood she’s 12 weeks tomorrow and hasn’t been sick yet. Fresh air is good for them (and for parents!) - just make sure they’re dressed appropriately
