What’s everyone’s LO eating?

My LO is 9 months old and i can not get her to eat anything. She won’t even try foods. She makes a terrible face before the food gets to her mouth.. she gags if the food makes it in her nought. The only thing i can get her to eat is oatmeal and yogurt. I’m getting worried the closer we get to 12 months knowing we’re going to be off formula.

I wouldn't worry, babies are generally fussy creatures. Have u tried pureeing things and watering it down with formula milk to try and encourage her? Mine eats anything under the sun. But it started with milk in foods :)

Everything I’ve given my LO I put in oatmeal first and he LOVES it! The oatmeal was familiar but with a twist😉 now he’ll eat anything!! Hope that helps❤️

We started with strictly green beans and now she eats everything, onions and sushi included. My Japanese grandmother told us that starting with green beans is the key. Not sure if it was really the truth, but it worked!

I’ve recently started giving my son stuff besides purées. He’ll eat bread, hamburger meat, green beans, mashed potatoes. It takes him longer to eat them and he makes a face due to the texture, but you just have to be patient 🙂

I posted about this a few weeks back in a panic since my son just wasn’t eating despite offering him three meals per day. He’s back eating more than ever now so it may just be a short phase. Mine did this for three weeks and lost weight during it, but he’s back eating well again. He loves banana pancakes sliced like 1/2 inch strips, shredded cheddar cheese, yogurt, and i purée what I make for dinner like kale pesto pasta, chicken noodle soup, spaghetti with ground turkey meat, etc. I would keep offering.

My child eats everything I eat: I can’t eat a meal in peace without him trying to eat whatever it is I have. 
Soo my kid eats everything but he’s still breastfed as well. I waited with solids until he showed he was interested so it wasnt at 6 months like most pamphlets say you should start introducing solids. It was more so around 8 months.

My lo is the same way. He was good with some baby food around 6-7 months and now has stopped eating it. He loves avocados but that’s about it.

My son middle son wouldn’t eat anything till he was closer to 1. He had no interest. I just kept offering it to him and eventually he started eating. I wouldn’t worry to much. Babies do things on their own timeline.

Same here! I have no idea what to feed her anymore! She used to eat well but all of a sudden she doesn’t want food. I’ve tried everything...purées, BLW, eating with me on the table, everything! She turns 9 months tmrw and she has her 9 month dr visit so I’ll be asking about feeds.

What all have you offered her? Baby food? Regular food? Purees? Finger foods? Have you offered her what you're eating? 
I started off trying regular BLW but my LO was less than interested. After almost 3 weeks of trying she still didn't want anything I gave her. I even tried 2 purees and she refused. 
Finally it clicked when I had her on my lap and saw her watching me eat, very intently. I gave her a piece of my pulled pork and the girl hasn't looked back lol. She wanted to eat what she saw ME eating, and she wanted to eat WITH me. Now that we're a few months into it she is okay eating on her own and eating different foods than me, but that is what really got the ball rolling for us!
Next time you're eating, if you have her on your lap or something, see if she watches you take a bite, and if so, maybe hold it out to her and see if she leans in to take a bite. Or if you have a plate of food and she reaches for it, let her grab a piece of whatever she's after and see if she picks it up and chews it.
