What does Braxton Hicks feel like?

I did laundry and laid down, I was on my left side and was uncomfortable bc my stomach started to hurt. I rolled to my right side and it just got worse. It’s like period cramps but worse to me since my cramps during a period weren’t so bad, and this is the first time I’ve ever had any kind of pain/cramping since I got pregnant. It was about 3 times less than 10 mins. It’s up high cramping.

Sounds like you might of overdone it a little. Sometimes I get full aching after doing chores in the house. Try take it more steady or get someone else to do it. I just can’t keep still, I’m nearly 38 weeks & was painting furniture other day & that evening I felt so sore & achy. So trying to rest a little more now 🙈😂 xxx

I’ve been having the same pain for the past 5 days. Lots of cramping in my upper stomach/side and pelvic pressure. It was going to my lower back as well. My doctor said it’s early labor but could last awhile.

Braxton Hicks are usually painless tightenings of your uterus. They come and go, and are practice contractions so to speak. They can be slightly uncomfortable but doesn’t sound like what you’re describing.
I’m at risk of preeclampsia and along with high BP, swollen hands/feet, my OB told me to beware of pain up high on the right side of my stomach. Might be worth giving your doctor a call if it doesn’t go away??
