What would you do?
I’m 36w3d and all day baby’s movement has been basically non existent, when I was feeling her move earlier this morning it was super soft I had to really pay attention to feel it which is unlike her because she’s normally so active and doesn’t stop moving. Now since about 7:45pm she had a few soft movement and I started my kick count around 8pm its now 10:19, and I haven’t felt the 6 movements in 2 hours that my doctor said I needed to feel for the day.
First of all when I go to L&D they hardly do anything other than qtip my lady bits to check for infection then usually send me on my way and tell me to wait for a call from my OB and they make me feel like a loony for coming in even though I was instructed.
Secondly I don’t drive and my husband works tomorrow morning, and I feel guilty for having him take me to the hospital and wasting his time when they send me home.
I know decreased movement is a serious thing and shouldn’t be taken lightly, however I don’t know if I should bother going in just yet or if I could wait til the morning?
What would you do?
Update: I’m just waiting on my husband to get out of the shower and go to L&D, and she’s moved about 3 times. Maybe she realized I was starting to panic, or maybe I’m panicking over nothing. Going to try and wait it out another hour. Thanks for your responses!
Update#2: went in to L&D heart rate is low but steady however still no movement. Just waiting on the NST to be done and hear hopefully good news from the doctor
