Toys for 7/8 month old??

Question

I feel like he's toys are boring to him now what toys should I be getting him ?? Only grown up toys are walker and baby bouncer but he goes in them no more than 10 mins

This is the age where babies start loving little bits from around the house. Kitchen utensils like whisks and spatulas, measuring cups, a colander/strainer. Make your own maracas with plastic containers filled with different materials like rice, lentils, unpopped popcorn (best to glue them shut so baby can’t get it open). Small tins like tea tins. I would fill a y’all laundry basket with different pieces of fabric (scarves, towels, burp cloths) and let him pull on them through the holes. Or wrap rubber bands around a loaf pan for baby to pluck like a guitar. Empty Easter eggs could be fun too if you have any leftover. They just like to explore new things with their hands and mouth.
