Help help help! - need advice about the pill!

Okay so I’m getting my implant taken out on Saturday. I went to the doctors today to get the combined pill. But because my periods are so irregular whilst I’ve been on the implant, the doctor said I could take them straight away.

But what does that mean? should I take them before my implant has been taken out? Should I take them as soon as it has been taken out?

I need instant protection though because I am really sexually active with my boyfriend and I’m new to the pill so your girl needs advice...😅🤷🏼‍♀️❤️
