My moms been wanting me to let my baby stay over night at her and my dads house over night but my daughter is barely 5 weeks. She has gone over there for a few hours a few times so my SO and I could catch up on sleep or go grocery shopping but we always scooped her up within a few hours. I know she would be absolutely fine over there; I’ll just miss her 😩😂

my question is; is my baby too young for an over night at her grand parents house? 🤔

So a few of yous asked why my mom wanted to watch my newborn or thought it was odd lol - I’m their only child and this is my first baby ;(& their first grandbaby) and they just love her an want to spend time with her too. She’s my mini me and my mom is also retired and a night owl so she really doesn’t mind. I have great parents that constantly just want to help and I appreciate them. As a new mom I just get that mom guilt of whether or not I should let her out of my sight for that long lol but eventually I will let them take her overnight so my SO and I can have a little evening alone and a good nights rest.
