Toy ideas?

Question

I have an 11 month old and I’m curious as to what toys I should buy her, that’ll help teach her things she needs to know. I’m a first time mom with absolutely no clue.

At that age my daughters favorite toys were everything in our kitchen cupboards (pots, plastic containers, measuring spoons) and backyard (sand, rocks, bugs) 😂 But she also loved her little ball pit, animal sound book, stacking rings (to chew on) and her toy vacuum, and soon after coloring. At that age they learn from everything! Btw, she still uses all of the toys at 2 years old ☺️

My son loves his kitchen utensils, mini Dyson, my pots and pans, and anything in nature. He's a simple boy 🤣
