20 wks Anatomy Scan. They found soft markers

Hi guys. So when I was 18 wks, I went in for my third ultrasound. They found a cyst on my baby’s brain - called choroid plexus cyst. I believe they said they found 2 on the brain. So they wanted us to come back in 2 weeks to do another ultrasound.

So fast forward, today, 2 weeks later, the good news is the one cyst on the brain has dissappeared. But now they found a bright spot in the heart - called echogenic intracardiac focus. She said this is maybe more common for Asian moms. And she said because my NIPT came back low risk for DS, and my age is 27, she is not that concerned. And all my other tests came back negative or low risk.

She also said because there are 2 markers for DS, she suggested us to do amniocentesis to get an accurate result for DS. But its so invasive that she also recommends to do fetal echocardiogram. So for now, we’re going to come back in 2 weeks for the second anatomy scan and then the week after for the fetal echo.

This is my first pregnancy and i just cannot help but worry. I do worry a loooot over every thing. Has anyone gone through what I’m going through now? I just need some comfort 😔
