It's called the purple cry phase and it should start to get much better once it peaks. To all the Mama's dealing with the purple cries. It gets better. You CAN do this. You aren't doing something wrong. You didn't cause this. You are a good mum. You WILL survive. It's OK to ask for help. If you need a minute, baby WILL survive crying for a minute while you take a minute to breathe before going back. YOU ARE AWESOME AND YOUR BABY LOVES YOU SO MUCH

Yes, and it was horrible. My husband was out of town that week on a fun fishing trip and I was home with an inconsolable child. One day I ate nothing until 11 pm because our son screamed bloody murder if I set him down. So I spent all day sitting on the couch holding him. Exhausting.
