4mo night time feedings
We went for my daughters 4 month check up today and saw a new nurse practitioner. She asked about how long she sleeps at night and how many times for feedings. Normally she only wakes up once for feedings if at all. I normally feed her between 6:00-7:00pm asleep around 7:30. Wakes between 4:30-6:00 am to eat and goes back to sleep for a bit, she has done this since 6 weeks old.
The NP says that I should wake her up earlier and feed every 6 hours.
Other NPs that we have seen have congratulated us for a baby that sleeps and never said anything about continue to wake her up at night. Have you been told this or is it ok to let her sleep and tell me when she is hungry? (It really is amazing all of us are alive hearing all the new “do’s and don’ts”! 🤦🏼♀️)
