My 6 week old has had green mucusy poop the last few days. I took her to the doctor on Monday and they said it was likely a food allergy and to eliminate dairy and nuts for a week since I exclusively breastfeed. The doctor said it would take about a week to see a change. Then I noticed a tiny bit of blood in her stool yesterday so I called the doctor and the nurse called me this morning and said as long as it’s tiny and she’s eating okay and wetting diapers, then the doctor isnt worried and to continue the elimination diet.

I’m just wondering if anyone else has had this with their little ones and what it was, what helped, etc. I’m worried for my poor baby.
