Missed period after miscarriage ?

I had a miscarriage last month  on 8/20/15 and I didn't get my period yet . Soon as I stopped bleeding , me and my husband had unprotected sex after the miscarriage . Could it just be late or is it normal to miss a period after miscarriage ?

I didn't have a period in between my miscarriage and my pregnancy.  I was worried the second pregnancy wouldn't take because I didn't wait an entire cycle before getting pregnant again.  I'm now almost 18wks along.

Sometimes it can take months to have a cycle after miscarriage. So yes, you could be pregnant again, or your body hasn't gotten back to normal yet.
