Spotting and clotting

I had my first cervical check yesterday and I started spotting late last night which I know is normal after a check. I did notice that I’ve had small clotting. I had one the size of a dime and they’ve been a lot smaller after that. Is it possible that’s just part of my mucus plug?

I never had spotting with my first after a cervical check.
