Are you feeding purées yet?!?

Question

My little man was born on Jan 3rd and has been EBF since day one. His doctor an nurse has said to start solid foods whenever we’re ready! I just haven’t yet! He doesn’t sit on his own yet and hates his high chair. 
Has anyone else started on solids yet?!?

Mine was born on dec 31 but due on jan20 they can eat rice cereal if they are in a supported sitting position. Most baby foods will tell you when baby is ready to eat via supported sitter, sitter, crawler etc. my daughter eats Gerber oatmeal every morning and a purée around noon. But she’s been very interested for a while and will eye ball me when I eat lol

I’m waiting until 6 months to give food. Everything I’ve read said to wait until 6 months, they can sit up on their own and are interested. I’m also not going to do purées, we’re doing baby led weaning.

My baby has started solids, her doctor gave us the ok at her 4 month checkup. So far she’s had oatmeal, mangos, pears & squash and she loves everything so far. She’s 18 weeks now

We have started. Rice cereal, fresh banana and avocado are the firsts I did with my daughter , so I did the same with my son. So far he can’t get enough ... he was born January 10th. I haven’t used jar purées but I have friends that swear by them. Good luck

Our little dude loves his high chair so we started purées. He’s only had sweet potatoes but he’s excited about it!

We have barely. Like a bite here and there or the teether wafers. She will be 4months on the 25th but Is sitting pretty independent and loves to be in high chair. She also will grab our food or lean to it

My little man was born on the 1st we r yet to do any foods but we go to the doctors tomorrow to get the okay to start
