When are you telling your parents?

My mother knows but I want to tell me father before the rest of the family but just don’t know when. Was thinking of Father’s Day ? I’ll be around 8 weeks by then I believe. I am just terrified it’s too early.

I’ve told damn near everyone, except social media, probably will do that at 11-12 weeks, everything is going good for me this far and I’d rather have people be here for me if I miscarry again than to keep it to myself.

I’ve had 2 ectopics and 2 miscarriages. I’ll be waiting till I’m out of my first trimester to tell anyone. So between 10-12 weeks.

I told everyone last time at 5 weeks and I had a miscarriage. Never though I would feel the way I do now pregnant again and I’m seriously wanting to wait until 20 weeks to tell everyone. My husband and I are super excited though. Other than us my mom and my closest friend know I’m nervous because my MIL is staying with us this weekend and she already asked if we could go for drinks so I’m going to have to make up something so she don’t find out 😩

Both our parents are divorced, so we told the moms and sisters on Mother's Day when we were just 4 weeks but are waiting until Father's day for our dads, which will also be after my first appt so I'll feel better about it. Not doing any social media until 14 weeks, time's out perfect for our 1 year wedding anniversary.

Last 2 pregnancies I told my mother right away and she told every damn body. I ended up losing both. She will not find out until I'm 13 weeks this time. I'll tell my dad right after.

I told everyone and shared my announcement at 4W. I've had a 14W miscarriage despite ultrasounds and doctors telling me everything was safe and fine. More prayers are better to me.
Easy test is would you tell him/them if you lost the baby? If so, why wait?
