I’m speaking of both nap and bed time here.

My daughter as a baby was very difficult to put to sleep. Then she turned 1 years old and we had to let her cry herself to sleep for a good 5 minutes. Then she became closer to two years old maybe later months of a one year old and she began throwing tantrums when it was time to sleep. She would throw stuffed animals out and cry for my husband and I to pick them all up, we would put them back in the crib out they came all while crying.

Now she’s 2 years and 7 months and this is the worse it’s ever been. She doesn’t throw stuffed animals out but has us repeat over and over tucking her in bed, praying with her, giving her a kiss and a hug. As soon as we are trying to exit the room she gets up and cries hysterically “put blanket on! Put blanket on” and also ask “what are you doing? What’s dada doing?” “Where’s Mr. Moon?”

Crying and screaming asking these questions. It’s like anxiety and OCD or something.

Anyone else dealing with this? Every time I share it with others it sounds like a bad case.
