when did you first know?

can any of you remember the first time you realised you were interested in the same sex? what drove you to understand your true passions?

Answer

When I was sharing my bed with a friend, rolled over in my sleep and smacked her in the head, woke up and thought I'd kissed her. I was 14. 
I didn't explore my sexuality fully until I was 19, as I had launched myself back into the closet until then.

I always liked boys and girls as a kid but I thought that everyone did, when I learnt that wasn’t true I started feeling really guilty about it. Last year I started hanging out with this group who were really in touch with and open about their sexualities, and being with such informed and supportive people made me realise I could be open too! It can still be difficult to talk about, but I’m glad I know my own identity now ☺️
