Favourite tips/tricks and products for keeping little fingers from getting caught in doors?

If you're not worried about how it looks, cut a piece off of a pool noodle and make a slit in it and put it around the door so it won't shut all the way.

I just fold a medium sized fleece blanket up and put it on top of the door so it can’t close

These are nice because you can still open and close the door normally and they blend well with white doors.
