I CANNOT STOP CRYING.

I FINALLY GOT MY BFP THIS MORNING AFTER 18 MONTHS OF TRYING. GUYS. IT IS FINALLY REAL. I CANNOT STOP SMILING OR CRYING OR SHAKING. After several months of <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">fertility treatment</a> in 2019 for unexplained infertility, this was my “off” cycle (aka with no medication/treatment) before I was scheduled to try a medicated

<a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a>

treatment my next cycle if I got my period. WELL, THAT BITCH IS NOT COMING, SO SEE YA NEVER!!!! 🤣❤️🤣❤️

I have never been pregnant, never even had a faint line in my entire life. I never thought I’d be lucky enough to get a BFP and always assumed it just wasn’t ever going to happen for us. SO NATURALLY, I ALMOST PASSED TF OUT WHEN I SAW A POSITIVE THIS MORNING and IMMEDIATELY grabbed more tests to take, as I was obnoxiously sobbing/shouting the news to my dog. Hahaha I am partly in shock, partly nervous, but ALL happy. I am literally giddy with excitement and I can’t believe it has finally happened. It is FINALLY our freaking turn!!!!!!! I just can’t believe it. 😭❤️

I’m currently at work and I can’t concentrate to save my life. I am (now 🤣) taking a half day off so I can stop to get some stuff to announce/surprise my husband as soon as he walks in the door this afternoon!! He is going to lose his mind and I can’t wait!!!!! Haha!

UPDATE # 1

Told my husband Friday afternoon!! I decided to stop and buy a bunch of pink and blue balloons to go with the onesie I already had on hand for this very moment (😭❤️) + a cute daddy baby book! I waited and waited, eyes glued out of our front-facing bay windows so I could see when he pulled onto our cul-de-sac — until he FINALLY did! I literally sprinted to the other side of the house, where I had set up everything, frantically turning on two different cameras in the process (wanted an extra JIC I messed up recording on my iPhone 😂). He walked in the door, turned the corner WITH FLOWERS IN HIS HANDS and just froze, then immediately ‪started crying and asking ““ARE YOU SERIOUS? ARE YOU ACTUALLY SERIOUS?!!” and we just hugged and laughed and cried for like 3 minutes until I asked why he got me flowers?! His response: “I just wanted to get you something to show you how much I appreciate you.” 😭😭😭 Needless to say, he is SO overjoyed!! We are both so ready for this next chapter and are just praying for a healthy, sticky bean. Our little miracle.

UPDATE #2

GUYS! I had my first rounds of bloodwork taken this week (5/28 & 5/30)! My first blood draw came back with an hCG Beta level already at 765 (😭❤️) and my Progesterone was really strong at 19.7!!

Then, I had another hCG blood draw 2 days later to make sure my hCG is doubling appropriately, and my hCG Beta came back at 1,698!!! It more than doubled!!! I am so relieved and still SO HAPPY!! Every day is like a dang fairytale right now. 🤰🏼🥰

Also, our first ultrasound is on June 11 and I cannot WAIT!!!! 😭 I can’t believe this is my life, I really can’t. My heart is so full!!!!

‪UPDATE #3 - 6/11/19‬

‪We had our first ultrasound this afternoon with my specialist!! There is, in fact, a sweet little baby growing just as it should be!!! S/he is comfortably tucked allllll the way in the far corner! 😂 We even got to see our sweet baby’s strong, fluttering heartbeat, too!!! 😭❤️ Measuring right on track at 6+5. I am now officially “graduated” from my specialist and have the all-clear to go back to my regular OB. My next appointment with my OB, where we will do another ultrasound (!!😍!!), is next Monday! We already can’t wait!!‬

We are so in love. Grow baby GROW!!‬

‪UPDATE #4 - 6/17/19‬

‪We had our second ultrasound today!! Everything is going SO good and I am so grateful, measuring in at 7+4 today (right on track). ❤️😭 We got to see AND actually hear the baby’s heartbeat this time!!! It was super strong at 146BPM!!!! What a difference not even a week makes during pregnancy; last Tuesday we basically just saw the yolk sac and some fluttery heartbeats (😂) — this week we actually saw the makings of a little baby in there!!! I still can’t believe it. It feels so surreal and I’m just so grateful for everything we’ve gotten to experience so far, and am looking forward to everything that’s to come. We’ve never been so in love, so fast! 🥰 ❤️ haha
