Does taking stitches out hurt?

So when it comes to medical procedures im a wuss. I postponed removing a bothersome birthmark for 8 years bc I didnt want to go under the knife. I just did it not to long ago but need to removethe stitches soon. Does that hurt? Do you get painkiller injections like when they actually put them in?

I've had dozens and dozens of stitches removed. The only time there was any pain at all was once when my skin had grown over a stitch or 2 a bit, and even then it was just a pinch for a second
It's quick and easy, nothing to worry about

No it doesn’t hurt and I’m a wuss too with medical stuff. I actually ended up taking my own out.

Hi I remove stitches all the time and I’ve never had a patient tell me it hurts and I don’t give injections to remove them.
