Do you like having people over?

I used to LOVE having friends over when I was younger and now I HATE it. Idk why. I feel so trapped when I have people over. I really enjoy their company but at same time don’t want them at my house. Does anyone feel this way?

I always go to them instead of them coming to me so I can just be like “oh wow I gotta get home” and then I can leave whenever I want

No. I have social anxiety and inviting people into my home makes me SOOOO uncomfortable. My husband is the opposite lol but we have a common area in our apartment complex that we usually go to if we have people over.. that makes me relax a little more

I sooooo understand this!!. 😂 I hate ‘house visits’, I don’t like when people visit me and I don’t like visiting them, it just seems so pointless and boring. If someone wants to hang out I suggest going to lunch or coffee or something like that. Usually when I’m home I want to be cleaning, working on a project or just lounging, non of which I can do when I have guests.

Oh yes. I hate having company. Idk why, I just don't like it. Especially when people decide that day that they're coming by.. I hate that more than anything and often will tell them no.

Yep I know exactly what you mean! My house used to be the party house lol cook outs game nights etc now everybody hits me up like when am I gonna have another shindig and I'm like dont yall have houses to do stuff at lol
