I don’t know what to do

I’ll be 12DPO tomorrow,should I take a test in the morning or wait the day before I start my period? I’m getting so impatient,and I have a mega hunch but I don’t wanna use the only pregnancy test I have and it be too early. How many DPO can you get a faint line? Help!
