So my sweet little boy had a VERY bad reaction to his first dtap shot and I am going to ask at his appointment this upcoming week to postpone them until 6 months. Has anyone had an experience with a bad reaction to the first shot? How did the second go? My heart broke in 2 watching my poor guy go through what he went through. BAD swelling, screaming, refusing to eat. it scared me so bad I went back to the doctors and wigged out on them because I was told no adverse reactions to the shot occur. The woman told me 1 in 1000 babies have that reaction and I was LIVID. She told me no reaction but come to find out there are 😫!! needless to say I’m not excited about doing it again but I OBVIOUSLY am not going to stop vaxin.
