Newborn Reflux?
Wondering if anyone has an infant diagnosed with reflux? I am exclusively breastfeeding, my son is almost two weeks old. At about 10 days old he started with a lot of fussing, kicking his legs and a hard tummy. I just assumed gas, but now he is throwing up pretty consistently after every feeding. Still lots of wet diapers but I feel so bad for the little man.
Right now we are trying shorter feedings, and sitting up for 30 minutes after to help digestion. It seems to be worse at night, so I am going to try elevating his mattress to see if that helps.
We will discuss with his doctor of course, he has a well visit in a few days.
