When did you/will you confirm?

How many of you have confirmed your pregnancy with your OB yet? 
My OB won’t let me come in to confirm until my period is 10 days late 🤦🏻‍♀️

Dr is seeing me at 8 weeks. Made the appointment today. I’m 3w3d. So long to wait!!

Can any of you ladies answer this question for me because I’m not sure. Do you always get a blood test to check your levels after you take a pregnancy test at your doctors office? Or is it only sometimes? 
I had it done with my last baby just to make sure it wasn’t ectopic. I just am not sure if it’s a routine thing or only something they do if it’s a concern and they only make you do a regular pregnancy test 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have a blood test on Tuesday (Holiday weekend) to confirm pregnancy + to check HCG levels! I’ll be right around 5 weeks at that point (based off of LMP), so hoping and praying the results come back on track!🤞🏻 I’m kind of nervous/anxious/excited! Haha
