Why would I not show him I’m crumbling?

Question

I am going through a split (kids are involved) and it was his doing. Everyone around me is saying don’t show him I’m crumbling and a mess. But why?
Don’t you think showing him how much I love and miss him will make him see how important it is and how we need to be together were a family.
Why would it be wrong to show him my emotions.
Although when I call him crying saying how could you do this to us he literally says nothing!!

Because guys like your husband when you show them you are breaking down without them they don't feel bad or any change of heart or remorse what So ever and can possibly make them feel superior that you are falling apart.. I'm so sorry for what you are going thru I do understand how this is breaking your heart to pieces but you have to try tell yourself that it was his choice and his loss. Take time to grieve then get back up and show him what he lost.. Trust me when he see's you doing good, happy and succeeding without him that's when he will go crazy and he might come running back but when that happens never take him back.. He left you heart broken before he will do it again.. Take care of yourself and ill pray for you and your kids..🙏🙏💙💖💚

It would be pointless because he’s already broken your heart. If he truly cared, you wouldn’t be in this spot right now. Showing him your true feelings will change nothing and he won’t have remorse for it either.

I’m sorry but if he’s choosing to break his family, you crying and such will not make him decide he loves you again. I know you’re hopeful that it will, but breaking up your family takes a lot of thought and deciding, unless he’s a total douche, neither of which will change by tears

He chose to not be with his family so it’s not important to him as it is to you . I think your better off without him having kids can’t keep a marriage but that doesn’t mean he won’t be a father no more . Coparenting is best , I know it’s hard for you and showing your emotions isn’t bad to do just letting go will be hard . Sorry your going through this :/
