So had a conversation with my best friend yesterday and she tells me this crazy plan that she wants to get pregnant. My friend is single lives in an apartment with 3 other gals and works at Starbucks and can barely afford rent plus other essentials. She doesnt have a car, a boyfriend/husband, her own place or family to support her. And shes possibly about to be kicked out of the apt shes in due to a missed rent from a girl that just moved out that stole the rent money. She in my and I'm sure most people general opinion, is NOT in any state ready to have a baby. We are the same age but I feel on different maturity levels. I just had my son at the end of March, I'm married and my husband and I own our house and both have good paying jobs. She works full time at Starbucks but barely makes enough to get by. I dont think she realized how much time/effort/money it takes to support a baby. Apparently if she gets kicked out then she is moving to Vegas to live with family there are wont try to get pregnant but if shes not kicked out then she is going to ttc until she moves in october with her fwb dude. I told her to come babysit a day with my son and then decide if you want one now lol. Any advice? I said I would support her in the decision she makes but to make absolutely sure she is ready...
