Where do I find info?

My mother had GD with all her pregnancies. Both her and my father are type two. I am only 7+4 but I also started this pregnancy alittle over weight. I'd like to be preventative.

Both of my parents are type 2. I should have seen GD coming, but I didn’t. I was diagnosed at 24 weeks and I’m glad I had it. It helped me be as healthy and mindful about food choices as I could for my little guy. I didn’t gain a single pound either! Matter a fact, I lost 10. I was on a plan to keep carbs between 35-40 for breakfast, lunch and dinner and 15-30 for snacks 3x/day. I walked every single day, too! I think that’s what helped the most. Good luck mama! Way to be on top of things! ☺️

I’ve been reading a book by Lily Nichols. Real food for gestation diabetes. It is excellent. She also has another- real food for pregnancy (or something like that?) I’d say check out one or both early on.
