Would it be excessive to ask for a photo of your child buckled into their car seat if the person watching them takes them out?

Personally if I couldn't trust someone to buckle my child in I wouldn't trust them with my child at all.

If you can’t trust them to buckle them in right, and keep them safe, then why are you trusting them with your child?

You could just play it off like “hey, i had one babysitter in the past that didn’t do it right and my kid fell out of the seat while driving. I appreciate everything you do and it would just make me feel better if you sent me picture for reassurance.”
