Mastitis or blocked milk duct?

Which could it be? I have no fever, chills, etc. I actually feel great minus the area is painful.

I would say mastitis. I have had several plugged ducts and I never had redness like that. I could always feel a hard lump also. It felt the way the breast feels when it is engorged only it was localized to one spot.

Mastitis. I was the same, no fever or chills just redness and hot to touch. My doctor said I caught it in early stages and gave me some antibiotics. Definitely see your gp.

Mastitis. You might’ve caught it early, before the fever and everything set in. I had the same thing happen to me while I was still pregnant 😑. Caught it before I ever became feverish

Mastitis. I had it 3x. It always looks just like that. You poor thing. Call your doctor girl. Mastitis always comes from a clogged ducts though. It causes our milk to jam inside breast tissue!! Thats where it gets infected. That’s why you can still nurse with mastitis. Your milk is not infected it’s the tissues.

Ladies, update. I woke up this morning and my breast feels absolutely fine and is barely red anymore 🤔 can mastitis go away on its own like that?

Mastitis. Get meds. It suuuuuucks when it really kicks in. Get it checked too because (although rare) some breast cancer presents like that.  Id bank on mastitis tho.

Please go to gp. I've just had mastitis last week at 9 month pp and it was the worst 😟 just appeared literally within hours and developed quickly....the fever, shakes and pain that comes from it are terrible. I could barely lift my head. Theres no way that's a clogged duct, it would be hard, lumpy and very sore but wouldn't be red like that. 
Sooner you get antibiotics the better you'll be before it sets in. IF you ignore it, it could turn septic and that's very dangerous. That's worst case scenario.
