Post partum bikini bod?!

So my due date is today and I know I won’t want to wear anything my sweats for a month is there a chance I’ll be able to rock a mom bod swimsuit or not at all?😭 anyone else have a baby around this same time I was realist answers since all my friends are young and bounced back fast they think I will and tbh I really don’t think I will

With my first baby I bounced back within days! 
All the subsequent babies it took a little longer . I am 2 weeks postpartum with baby 5 and although my tummy is flat and I could wear a bikini if I wanted to , I am not yet back to my prebaby weight or where I would want to wear a bikini.... by end of July I feel I will be back there though ! All in all there is no “bikini body” it is however you feel comfortable!

I gave birth 3 days ago & im pleasantly surprised with my body. I’m breast feeding too and can feel my uterus pulling in every time I feed I have mild contractions it’s crazy x

I was surprised with how my body bounced back, however I still have extra skin and my stomach isn’t “beach bod ready”. I’m trying not to stress too much about it because I just carried a precious baby girl for 9 months and then had a c-section. Give your body some time to reciprocate and don’t be too hard on yourself 😊

For most women, it takes time. Dont be discouraged, you housed a baby for 9 months in your womb. You can rock a bikini regardless if your body is back the way it was or not,  be proud of your postpartum body. If you feel more comfortable covering it up, try a tankini style swimsuit or something like that. I myself bought a maternity tankini that I'm hoping I can also wear once baby is born
