How long does it take?

I've been spotting and lightly bleeding for two weeks now. I found out I was pregnant early, started bleeding and was told I was having a miscarriage. 
My hcg levels continued to rise (but slowly) and when we did an ultrasound on Monday, we saw a sac and a baby. 
I passed something the Sunday prior to the u/s that I was convinced was it (based on posts I've seen on here of others mc). I'm thinking maybe it was twins now based on that and based on how early I tested positive.

So my question is how long is this supposed to go on? From the beginning of bleeding, how long does it go on? I feel like a crazy person. I just want to know if mine seems abnormal...I didn't think it would take this long. I still apparently have a sac and yolk in there 😥 has anyone experienced this ?

My first loss I started a natural mc at home assumed I passed everything 2 days later I had an u/s that showed baby and placenta. I was sent right to the hospital for a d&c. My dr's number 1 priority is making sure I didn't get an infection. 2nd loss I had a d&c 2 days after finding out. So sorry for your loss.... Not to sound stupid but how early was the mc and scan? I started spotting on the 3rd of September till the 19th

I bleed extremely heavy for a little over 2 weeks with my first miscarriage. With the second one I didn't bleed as bad and it lasted about a week. I think each one is different. If you're worried about it call your doctor and talk to them
