Hey, I guess I just wanted to know if someone out there is in the same boat. All my life I've had extreme pain during my periods that cause vomits and other really bad secondary effects. When I was 16 I had a misscarriage during the first month. Now in my 20s I went on Thursday to a doctor to see if I could get an IUD, but when running the exams my doctor told me I had a really small uterus. It was something another doctor had mentioned but he never ran the exams. My actual obgyn told me it was underdeveloped, as if it never matured properly during puberty and it was the size of the uterus of a 10yro. When he tried to put the IUD my body expulsed it instantly so I decided to go with Yaz pills until I could afford the Nexaplon implant. My doctor said having kids would be risky and I should abstain myself from it (which is ok I don't want to) because my uterus is so underdeveloped and under so much pressure from the periods it could rupture. Idk, I just needed to let this out if someone else is in a similar situation.
