My 1mo son became so fussy and gassy today he practically stopped eating bc he seemed to be in so much pain. In his last 2 feedings he only ate an ounce each time and usually has at least 2.5oz. Should I be worried?

Was a bit concerned trying gripe water so I made him some fennel tea and he had maybe 0.25oz of that. It seemed to relieve him a little and now he’s sleeping but at what point do I worry about him only half eating? He was a bit early, but is now almost 8lbs up from 5lb13 at birth.

We always seem to have scares weekend nights when the only option is the ER 🤷🏻‍♀️
