Help?!

Question

So my baby is 3 weeks old and she has never really slept in a crib or bassinet. She co sleeps with me but now with in the last 4 days or so she has only been able to fall asleep on me. If I put her down she wakes up screaming. How do I break this habit? Anything helps. Thanks in advance.

My husband and I co slept with my 6 week old since he was born. But we used a doc a tot the first 4 ish weeks recently just go to the point where when I’d feed him I’d fall asleep and it’s nice to have more room on our king size bed. Anyways the last week I’ve decided for him to sleep in the bassinet next to our bed when we first go to bed and he luckily does good then end up in bed with me around 2 am. Maybe try getting a dock a tot or something similar to have the separation but not so much at first if it doesn’t work off the bat I’d go with a good long feeding and put them in and cuddle them when they’re in it and just slowly transition from them being in there to the bassinet. Also try putting them down for a nap durning the day after they eat

Currently struggling with this with my 9 week old...what’d u do to break the habit? Even when he naps during the day he wants to be held and I need to get him into some sort of routine
