My breast is in so much pain. Baby didn’t nurse for 3.5 hours (normally nurses every 1.5-2) and my breasts got sore, which is normal for me. After baby fed, my R breast hurt a lot. When I touch the tender area of my breast, it feels so painful, like bruising, but there’s no discoloration and no swelling. I also do not feel any lumps or hardness. It’s not hot to the touch and has a dull pain when I don’t even touch it. It doesn’t particularly hurt worse when baby nurses or when I pump. I don’t want to call the nursing line because I feel silly since there’s no visual evidence of pain, but I also want to know what the hell is going on. Anyone else experience this? Should I call the nursing line?
