Anyone else have a significant other that doesn’t help around the house? Drives me INSANE. I mean doesn’t load or unload the dishwasher, won’t clean the tub, doesn’t do laundry. Nothing!! I’m pregnant, nauseous all the time, and tired. I work full time and 10-12 hours a day. He’s a part time worker. Our house is a mess!!! He comes back from working out, and I hint that the tub needs to be cleaned since he’s going up there to shower. What does he say?? “Let’s me know” I can clean it when he’s done. What the actual hell?!!! 😡😡😡 
Very rarely will he pick up anything! Anything! I put it off to cultural differences as first as he comes from a culture where women will literally kick the man out of the kitchen. BUT!! Half of the time women in his culture usually aren’t the primary breadwinners anyway. They stay home. 
I’m just frustrated because this isn’t the life I envisioned for my myself. Not sure how to fix it.

Don’t hunt, straight up tell him that house chores need to be shared. If you keep doing everything and don’t talk to him about it how should he knows it makes you mad. Especially if he comes from a culture where women do it all

Well he needs to understand too if you're not from the same cultural background, thay things are different. You need to have a serious conversation with him about shared responsibilities. Don't put extra stress on your body and baby. Set his ass straight now cuz when baby gets here you're going to need extra extra help. Props to you for being a strong working momma!

Girl I feel ya. It's like pulling teeth trying to get my husband to do something around the house without me having to tell him to do it. He grew up in a house where his mom was stay at home and waited hand and foot on his dad. I've had a talk with him several times to let him know I'm not his mother or a housekeeping. I work full time as well and am a college student and he still feels as is keeping up with the house, laundry, and cooking is still the woman's responsibility. He thinks when he comes home all he should have to do is eat and shower. We've been together going on 7 years and living together 6 1/2 and it has gotten better but still far from where i would like it to be.

Instead of hinting around at it say can you clean the tub while you are in there.
