So I was travelling from Washington DC to the UK. With what I thought was a very good airline!

Had checked in & went to drop my bag. It was an hour before the flight (as my flight in was delayed).

All my medication, clothes, possessions were inside my case. I explained I’m 6 weeks pregnant & my medication was inside my case so I need it to retain the pregnancy.

There was another airline operator who said it would be no problem to help but the operator i was with refused. Asked if I was economy or first then refused to take it.

Fair to say I had a bit of a meltdown!

He told me to leave my bags & go to the flight without them or miss it & stay in the airport until later in the week.

So I had to run to the gate, no meds for the flight or home.

They told the Police they had an “abandoned bag” so all my meds & clothes have been destroyed.

I just can’t believe they weren’t prepared to help.

Now it’s bank holiday & the pharmacy is closed! 🤦🏼‍♀️😢💉
