Is it true you can't have a face on at ultrasound at 35 weeks?

Question

I have not gotten a portrait of my baby since 16 weeks. Each time I ask, am told it is not worth doing since baby is too low. And this since 16 weeks. Now they tell me it is too late. Baby is facing the back and is too big. But I keep seeing people post photos of their babies at 38 weeks! I wanted a photo I could frame for the nursery.

I had one at 34 weeks and he has been extremely stubborn my whole pregnancy. She tried to get one for like an hour but of course he was face down which he has been since the very beginning but he must of moved right when she tried again and got one. I haven't even got a 2d side profile of him because he was NEVER in right position and I've had SOOO many ultrasounds! I was very lucky this time!

If baby is facing your back it's almost impossible to get any sort of face shot

My baby has been really awkward to get photos of too but sure that’s just the way it is. Can’t help the way baby is facing. In an ideal world we’d all have these fab pics but that’s just not the case for some. I made peace with it after my 12 week scan & good thing I did cause baby has always been facing in & hard to get images of the face. All the more exciting for birth
